Contexte
The team of Environmental Epidemiology applied to Reproduction and Respiratory Health is willing to welcome a postdoctoral researcher to conduct a project related to the association between early-life exposure to endocrine disruptors (phenols, phthalates and perfluorinated compounds), DNA methylation and respiratory health in children.
Grenoble, the capital of the French Alps, is the second French research pole by its number of researchers; it is ideally situated within the Alps, at three hours from Paris by train, two hours from Geneva and one hour from Lyon Saint-Exupéry international airport.
Missions / Contenu du poste
Requirements:
- PhD in epidemiology or (bio)statistics
- Experience in managing and analyzing high dimensional data
- A firm ground in statistics
- Knowledge in epigenetics or in the omic field will be appreciated
The applicant will be working on the SEPAGES couple-child cohort within a dynamic multi-disciplinary environment. The team of Environmental Epidemiology applied to Reproduction and Respiratory Health is part of the Institute for Advanced Biosciences, an Inserm-CNRS-Grenoble University multidisciplinary research center in the field of biosciences.
